Previously he worked in London for Investment Banks and his last job in the UK was Head of European equity trading for Bank of America.

Paula moved to Spain in 1998. She worked as a PA for the CEO of a local construction company whilst continuing her linguistic studies. She is fluent in English, Spanish, German and Czech.

She is married with children.
Previously she studied languages in Nuremberg.
